It's interesting to see so many completely false reports and statements doing the rounds in the last week - and also interesting to see how much of that completely false and incendiary information has been passed around by known communists/socialists.
CCP are getting meta-gamed by a small group of trouble-makers who enjoy spreading lies and stirring people up just for the sake of it. It began last week with the false "Twitter" rumours started by a known communist, and they continue to this day with a hard-core faction who are stirring things up for the sake of it.
Keep your eyes and ears open - there are ways to defeat this kind of information warfare and it begins by monitoring the ringleaders who spread the disinformation. There is absolutely no logic or reason to the current whining or so-called protests, except the logic of disinformation and left-wing anarchy.

Yeah, I don't agree with the left therefore I'm a ****, right? Typical "agree with us or shut up" viewpoint that you people have.
It's pretty clear that there is a total over-reaction, and that it's being fuelled by people who are deliberately inciting it and spreading nonsense. Their aim is to derail a legitimate company's operations for the sake of it.
The best strategy in this situation is to calmly and consistently put out the truth, make sure the disinformation is met with facts and balanced information, and to monitor the trouble-makers and warn them that spreading lies and starting threads inciting people will be met with zero-tolerance. This nonsense will stop when CCP announce that they won't cave-in to socialist/anarchist stirrers and that they will stick to their right to have a balanced discussion about the future needs of their business.

Well I know I'm not the only one who has this opinion. CCP don't seem too keen to defend themselves so it's up to decent people to put some fair arguments and facts up to represent ourselves and how much we disagree with the unreasonable, trouble-inciting types who are trying to ruin this great gaming experience.
People who care about this game should make sure to get balanced arguments out - everyone has a right to their opinion, but keep it balanced and don't fall prey to false rumours and deliberate provocations that are put out as bait.
Many of the posters starting the false rumours - if you check their posting history - want to mislead because their interest is in anrachy or socialism - ie going into a situation where a large number of people are unhappy and stirring it up as much as possible.
They're making the situation more volatile than it needs to be but it will just make it worse in the long-run - CCP have a right to carry on their business with their paying customers and certain elements want to ruin that right. This is a storm in a tea-cup which only damages customer and business interests - this is not the productive way to get things done in the real world.

Exactly Rhivre, thank-you for proving my point that some people are doing this to agitate/as meta-game. A lot of "bait" is being issued in the form of misleading statements and conclusion-drawing that is sucking in the gullible and reactive types.
Fortunately there seems to be an increase in people posting up more rational threads and posts though, which will help to break and then stall the momentum of these new "Masters of EVE" who think they can dead-end CCP and the player-base into a semi-permanent hostile stand-off.
